Christmas Party Hardy

Ryan had his work Christmas party at his boss's big house in River Oaks. It was a lot of fun and included a pretty legit-looking Santa and even had carolers. Grandpa watched Alex for us and spent the night so we stayed out "late" until 11. I am tired today!

Meant to say in the last post that this is the David Yurman jewelry that Ryan gave me for my bday/Xmas. Citrine gemstone and pave diamonds. Beautiful!

Fun!

Alex has had a lot of fun this week swinging at the park and riding around in his toy car. He also got his first pair of shoes!

We put up our christmas tree too. Looks great for both the tree and ornaments to be hand-me-downs.

11 Months!

I am a little late posting this. Little A is 11 months old -- almost a year! He isn't walking yet but can cruise holding on to furniture or the walls. He is working on standing on his own and takes a few steps before falling to his butt. Probably not too long until he is a walking man!

LOVES his slide. This boy is a climber and will get on anything if it makes him higher up!

Sometimes I think Alex is a dog at heart. He will carry things around in his mouth to keep his hands free and will also play fetch with himself by throwing a toy and crawling to retrieve it only to throw and retrieve again. Silly boy!

9 Months!

Guess who was 9 months old on Thursday! Alex is so happy and so much fun to be around. He is a great sleeper, sleeping 11-12 hours a night and he takes 2 naps during the day that are usually about an hour each. He is also a great eater with a hearty appetite. I am still breastfeeding but I don't anticipate having a hard time weaning. He will eat anything except cottage cheese and avocado.

He went in for his 9 month check up and he is healthy and doing well. He has 6 teeth (3 top and 3 bottom) and the 4th on the top is about to come in. Here are his stats:

Weight: 18lb 10oz (20%)
Height: 27.5in (26%)
Head Circ: 18in (68%)

Teeth and Monkey

Alex now has 5 teeth. Two on the bottom and three on the top. It is so cute. Alex's latest thing is to crawl under things. If he can get under it, he does. He is such a happy baby (now) and so fun to be around.
