Halloween

Alex was Charlie Brown for Halloween. He looked so cute and he didn't even realize he was wearing a costume! I also bought him a plush Snoopy doll to carry around to complete the outfit.

We went trick or treating during the day at the mall with a friend. Alex rode in the stroller the whole time but enjoyed getting candy from the different stores.

Later that night Ryan and I took him trick our treating around the block. He probably went to about 15 houses and did a great job carrying Snoopy. We only had to hold it when he was enjoying a sucker.

We watched It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on TV that night too.

Mommy and Daddy have been enjoying most of his candy!

I didn't get any good pics of the complete costume. Oh well.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a pumpkin patch a couple weekends ago. Alex had a fun time running around but wouldn't pose for any pictures. He also had a lot of fun on the train ride and looking at the pig.

More silliness

More pics of Alex. School is going well. The teacher said all 6 of the kids napped on their nap mats on Thursday which is only the second time attempting this. I don't know how she managed to get 6 toddlers to do this. I'm amazed!

Splash pad fun. He loved it!

Nap mat

Meant to post the pic where Alex dragged Max's dog bed next to his nap mat. His mat has his name stitched on the front next to a lion -- it is cute.

First day of school

Alex had his first day of school today. It was just from 9-12 and next Tuesday he'll go from 9-2. He didn't cry at all and had lots of fun! He immediately got to playing and didn't miss Mommy. There are 6 kids in the class ranging from 18-23 months and 2 teachers. The breakdown is 4 boys and only 2 girls. He has competition for finding a girlfriend!

Next week they will start taking naps on nap mats. I'll be curious to see how that goes. I got his nap mat out the other day and he immediately dragged Max's dog bed next to it -- too funny. I think he is going to love it and I look forward to some time to myself!

I didnt really get any good pictures of him. I took him to the backyard to try to take some.  Instead he tried to walk on the pool net cover and his feet fell through into the pool! Needless to say I had to change his shoes before we left!

More silliness

Lots of fun and silliness!

Fripp

We had a nice trip to Fripp visiting G&G Hummer. Alex LOVED te beach and was fearless of the waves, even when they knocked him over. He also had lots of fun in a secret toy closet that had tons of toys. Some were really vintage and cool. He loved to play with the toy eggs, a container of rocks, and had so much fun with the spiral hose!
