On Friday we had a neighborhood block party for National Night Out. The young girls were so sweet to Mallory. Alex had so much fun running around and playing with the firetruck!

Mallory is 8 months

This girl sure does know how to rock a Mohawk! She has two teeth, can roll straight across the floor, and can do push-ups but no crawling yet. She still needs to learn to get her knees under her.

Vegas!

Ryan and I went to Vegas two weeks ago with 3 other guys Ryan worked with for 15 years plus their spouses.  We had some really yummy dinners and were even successful gambling. Turns out I am lucky rolling dice!

7 months!

Mallory is 7 months old! She is still so sweet and cuddly and super cute! She is a good eater and likes everything except peas so far. She isn't crawling yet and I'm enjoying her being immobile while it lasts!

We had Angela and Andrew Chang over to play last weekend and then went out to lunch. Lily is Alex's age and Olivia is Mallory's age. Ryan worked with Andrew at Lazard for more than 10 years!

Alex attended Abbey's (from school) Mickey Mouse birthday party last week. The pinata was fun and Alex even knocked out a couple pieces of candy!

First day of school!

Alex had his first day of school yesterday in the 2's "bunnies" class. There are 10 kids in the class with 2 teachers. Last week we had a pre-k reunion with 4 of the 5 kids from last year that are in the same class again this year! Alex had so much fun at the splash pad and seeing all of his friends. It's going to be a great year!

Summer Pics

The last couple weeks:

Alex LOVED Shark Week on the Discovery Channel. He watched Sharknado 1 and 2 and then Shark Week all week long. Yes, he is lying on Max's dog bed and drinking a chocolate milkshake.

His latest obsession is "under water animals." Here is his collection. He sorts them and plays with them all day long.

Alex came home from his last day at Summer Camp as a lion. They said he messed the face paint up on the playground.

She can sit all by herself!

I took Alex and Mallory to the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center last week. Alex took off on his own and loved going down the water slide!
