Landscape progress

Just an update of our landscape progress. The first pic is what it looked like before. We finally cleared those trees out and had new plants put in a year ago or so (I think). Recently we had flowers planted and painted the door red. It has come along way!

Ryan's Bday and Alex

On Saturday Ryan turned 36! My dad came over and watched Alex for a few hours while we walked to Rice Village and enjoyed the nice weather with some beers on the patio. We had Star Pizza for dinner and mini cupcakes. For breakfast Ryan had bday eggs!

Alex likes to stand on the handle to the lower oven and grab the stovetop so we are now limited to only using the back burners. Silly boy.

Easter 2013

Ted's family came down from Colorado Springs for Easter this year. Because all their boys were running fevers and coughing, we waited until Easter Sunday to visit. Alex had so much fun playing with Andrew and watching Austin and Adam. He really loves being around kids.

Alex is 15 months!

Alex is 15 months! He is still a very busy and very curious little boy. He loves to climb and get into everything. He had his 15 month check up and it went well. He has really had a growth spurt since last time.

Height: 32" (77 percentile)

Weight: 25lb 2oz (56 percentile)

Head: 19cm (80 percentile)

On St. Patrick's Day we went over to Rice to watch some guys from Ryan's office play football. Alex had so much fun running around and stealing everyone's water bottles and cell phones.

Cancun Spring Break '13

Ryan and I went to Cancun for 3 nights over Spring Break. My parents watched Alex for us. It was a nice getaway although it rained the first day we were there. The next 2 days had nice weather. It was all-inclusive so both Ryan and I were sick of eating and drinking by the end of the trip.

G&G Hummer visit

We had a nice visit last weekend with G&G Hummer. Friday afternoon we went to St. Arnold's Brewery for the "tour" which just means we sat there for a little over an hour and drank their beer. Alex had lots of fun running all around the brewery! Saturday we had a late lunch at Brian O'Neills in Rice Village and just relaxed the rest of the day. On Sunday we had an outing to my parents' house for an early dinner. The food was good and everyone had a nice time. The grandparents hadn't seen each other since our wedding almost 4 years ago. Here are a few pics from the weekend and some of him just being silly.
